Daniel Chrenek is a licensed Professional Engineer with over nine years of experience across both structural and civil engineering. Starting his career in transportation engineering, Daniel gained early insight as a field inspector and designer, building a practical understanding of how design decisions translate on-site. This foundation continues to inform his approach to structural systems, constructability, and client needs.
Now serving as Structural Lead for Western Canada at Design Works, Daniel plays a key role in project coordination, structural design, and building envelope evaluations. His collaborative mindset, problem-solving ability, and clear communication style make him a trusted client partner and a cornerstone of the team.
Daniel has spent the past eight years building strong working relationships across disciplines as a long-time team member. Outside the office, he’s an avid disc golf competitor, travelling and competing in tournaments across the country, in any weather.
