Paul Cartagena is a Civil Co-op Student at Design Works Engineering and a third-year Civil Engineering student at the University of Alberta.

With a strong interest in civil design, Paul is eager to expand his technical skills, particularly in Civil 3D and construction drawings, while gaining hands-on experience through site visits and field work. He’s passionate about learning, problem-solving, and seeing how designs take shape in the real world.

Outside of engineering, Paul enjoys experimenting as a home-barista, capturing moments through photography, and staying active with a game of badminton. He brings curiosity and energy to everything he takes on.
